“I am going to fight capitalism even if it kills me. It is wrong that people like you should be comfortable and well fed while all around you people are starving.” Sylvia Pankhurst

“…if only she had known what was to be….it is not capitalism, it is worse than that. It is kleptocracy, an oligarchy.

It is simply theft. Risks taken socially, profits taken privately. And privately means corporations. If it goes wrong, government bail them out, because they are “too big to fail”. And no one is ever punished for their nefarious deeds.

Money laundering, insider dealing, outright criminality. It is the systematic transfer of wealth from the taxpayer to the corporations, who shape “policy” with their lobby companies, who buy mouthpiece politicians of all shades and who run the corrupt, propaganda media.

We are not even wage slaves. We are just slaves.

And woe betide anyone brave and committed enough to try and shine a light on that….they will be subjected to a constant stream of allegations, smears and hate-filled headlines, parroted by the BBC as “news” and all those headline-reading dupes, who know no better.

And try as we might, we in the social media fall into their trap. How can we ignore war…gross lies and smears? We defend ourselves, and there it is….the smear continues to trend, relentlessly. We even begin to question ourselves! Of course, it is important to celebrate the lives of these early pioneers. But there is so much more to be done.”
