“Terrorist attacks are part & parcel of city life” – Labour Mayor of London Sadiq Khan on terrorism.

When Mr Khan met New York mayor Bill de Blasio at an event with Muslim community leaders, he said terrorist attacks were:

“part and parcel of life in a big city.”

It is a reality I’m afraid that London, New York, other major cities around the world have got to be prepared for these sorts of things.

That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but also it means exchanging ideas and best practice.”

In light of the recent London terrorist attacks on London, the idea that the Capital city of the UK is presided over by a Mayor so lax on the topic of terrorism is insane.

Enough is enough – there are people on these islands who mean nothing more than harm to our society, and they have proven it 2 months in a row.

The Mayor’s answer? This is normal. No it isn’t, and it never should be.
