“If the underfunding continues, waiting lists will rise from 4 million to 5 million, cancer care will deteriorate, the mental health targets he’s committed to won’t be met & the 18 week target will be permanently abandoned.

Is it not the case that if the Chancellor doesn’t allocate another £6 billion a year for the NHS, then he will have failed in his role as Secretary of State for Health?”
