Today in interview on Radio 4 The chancellor admitted that taxes will have to rise to cover the costs of increased spending on the NHS.
It seems he is catching up with Labours well thought out plans on funding the NHS.
He also suggested:
“We will not be sending large sums of money to Brussels at the end of the year that’s money we can spend on our NHS!
Asked if he would call it a Brexit dividend he stopped short saying: “we have some headroom in our fiscal rules and we can utilise that!”
