#ToryElectionFraud – May’s majority in doubt as West Midlands Police hand in 13th case to Crime Prosecution Service

The Tory MP for Dudley South, Mike Wood, has had a case for Election Fraud handed in to the Crime Prosecution Service.

He is the 13th tory MP to have had a criminal case on their election handed in to the CPS by the Police. Dudley South is a marginal seat which Labour held from 1997 to 2010. Conservatives won the seat in 2010 and held it in 2015 with a majority of 4,270.

A CPS spokesman said: “I can confirm we have had a file from West Midlands Police in respect of the 2015 general election.”

The Crown Prosecution Service has had files from 13 forces, including Staffordshire and now West Midlands, following an investigation into breaches of campaign spending limits during last year’s general election. Elected Tory Police Commissioners have also had its independence with regards to this investigation brought in to question by the following Freedom of Information request :

“Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner, Alison Hernandez, failed to properly declare election expenses when employed as the election agent for Conservative MP Kevin Foster.”

Two MPs have already been arrested, questioned and cautioned over this Election Fraud scandal – which brings in to doubt the Conservative governments inherited, and slender, majority. Additionally, one of Theresa May‘s closest aides, her joint chief of staff Nick Timothy, has been implicated in the ongoing police probe into the Conservatives electoral crimes.

In total the Tories have been under criminal investigation by Police for #ToryElectionFraud in 29 constituencies in the following counties :

Avon & Somerset, Cheshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Devon & Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Greater Manchester, Kent, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Metropolitan Police (London), Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire, Sussex, Warwickshire, West Midlands, West Yorkshire, Wiltshire.

If enough of them result in by elections, this scandal could wipe out the Tory Majority in Parliament. Coming as it does in tandem with the Brexit vote and the passing of Article50, this scandal strikes to the beating heart of the British Constitution.
