“So glad that there are still dedicated Doctors and Nurses in UK (in this instance London). My son (who was a hit and run victim 3 years ago) went to his GP on Wednesday after suffering a 2 week headache, vomiting and flu like symptoms.

The GP sent him to Georges A & E where he had a CAT scan, blood tests and other tests, they kept him in overnight on the neuro ward where he next day saw a specialist who gave him a lumbar puncture and thorough examination which all cleared him of everything but a Thunderclap migraine, possibly flu exacerbated by the balance issues left over from his accident.

He is home and feeling better but full of praise for the way he and his fellow A & E visitors were treated in his time there.

We cannot let the NHS be run down, it is the workers on the coal face that need to be saved.

In France I have found much more direct contact with Medical staff and less admin (this is my opinion) so if costs are to be saved I think it is the huge administration costs where money can be saved to be directed at the front line.

I have visited the US, from my relations I learned how expensive it all was down to drug and admin costs they said. I am sure that is not what the UK wants or needs.”
