Sadiq Khan’s bromance with Gideon Osborne is a disgrace to Boy George’s victims

First he was caught out feeding lines to the Tories for PMQs. Now Sadiq Khan is congratulating former Tory Chancellor George Osborne on becoming the latest right wing propagandist at the Evening Standard. This is the same Osborne who took our nations debt to GDP ratio from 69.9% to 92% whilst slashing services by giving corporate tax cuts to the richest. No mention of #ToryElectionFraud. No mention of Boy George’s new £650,000 a year job advising the same vested interests he supported in government. Just a friendly ‘congratulations’ from Mr Khan to Dodgy Dave’s right hand man. So this is what the Tories meant by “we’re all in this together”. The idea that Mr. Sadiq Khan would prop up a Tory Party that ran an overtly racist campaign against him, turning on one of his supporters – no less than the Leader of The Labour Party himself-  in the process, is disgusting.

What are Working Class Labour voters supposed to conclude when Labour Party representatives like Khan confirm in their minds the line UKIP, the SNP, Plaid & the Greens repeat on every doorstep : “Labour & Tories are the same.”
This has got to be a new low for the Blairites. But then, Khan has form when it comes to extracting the urine. Khan gets a lot of money from dodgy London “property developers” – the estate agents of Tory gentrification. This has caused outrage from even the usually conservative leaning Tax Payers Alliance :

“It’s one thing if a local political party offers their MP and staff free use of a desk or an office, but quite another for it to be sending taxpayers an annual invoice for thousands of pounds. Often this is space that would not in any case be available to anyone else on commercial terms.

The practice of MPs renting space from those who also donate money to the MP or their party should also set alarm bells ringing. It’s effectively a back-door subsidy to political parties that is exploiting an allowance meant to assist MPs in their work serving their constituents, not boost the coffers of their re-election campaign.

Individuals, businesses or trade unions should be free to provide office space to an MP as a donation-in-kind, but invoicing the taxpayer for that facility before then making a political donation appears to be little more than a sneaky way of channelling taxpayers’ cash into party coffers.”

What more proof do we need that these people, as Tony Benn put it “fed by the Labour movement their entire lives, are a cancer” to the working class?
