Former UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage ominously tells the British Public that there will be blood on the streets – and that it would be ‘legitimate’.

There are no circumstances where, in a functioning democracy, violence is legitimate. Violence in such Democratic structures is a sign of one thing: political failure.
